Premiere of new work by Helge Sten and Ståle Storløkken for Trondheim Voices at Moldejazz 2018
Trondheim Voices wants to create new music in the context of the technological development that the ensemble's musical ideas have led to, and still invite to.
Helge Sten and Ståle Storløkken have long been high on Trondheim Voices' wish list of collaborators, and in the encounter with these two fantastic composers, the ensemble will continue its exploration of composition and improvisation in collaboration with new technology. In their work, Trondheim Voices and Sten / Storløkken want to search for the intersection of acoustic and electronic soundscapes, between harmonics and microtones.
Just in this transition, between the familiar and unknown, where our acquired senses cease, new ways of experiencing and sensing can be opened.
