Seven program updates - two from AiR Bill Frisell!

We are so pleased to present two concerts from this year's Artist in Residence: Bill Frisell FIVE and Bill Frisell and Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. Two strong contributions from our AIR that testify to the level Bill has put together for Moldejazz in 2024. In total, there will be seven concerts at Moldejazz with "The Guitarist Who Changed the Sound of American Music". We will release a separate AIR pass (1495 NOK) that includes all of Bill Frisell's concerts at a later time.
More concerts in the series will also be announced soon!

Tigran Hamasyan, the Armenian miracle pianist who blends jazz, classical, folk music, and hard rock, is coming with his infamous trio to deliver his most energetic material yet. The American fusion jazz pop group KNOWER (Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi) sounds like nothing else on this earth and will come to Teatret Vårt for a midnight concert with a full band. Let's go! We invite the renowned Andreas Røysum Ensemble, which has caused a stir wherever they have performed, an energetic musical storm of impressions and joy of playing that does not need to be categorized! Come and experience!

The veterans of Dance With A Stranger will take over Alexandraparken on Wednesday, July 17th, for a long-awaited concert featuring material from their entire 40-year career. Finally, we invite the big name on everyone's lips right now, drummer, vocalist, and pianist Veslemøy Narvesen, who will perform in two settings during Moldejazz. Partially with her sextet at Storyville and partly in a smaller format specially assembled for Moldejazz, where the location is still secret!

Unfortunately, the previously announced concert with Anthony Braxton will be canceled as the artist has health issues and will not perform live this summer. The concert with Larkin Poe is also canceled due to changes in the artist's plans. Replacement concerts will follow.

Ticket holders for the canceled concerts will be contacted by Moldejazz and refunded for their tickets.
