Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi have nurtured KNOWER as their primary project since their encounter in 2009. Gradually, they've cultivated a global following with their infectious jazz-funk, funky bass lines, exquisite vocal arrangements, and compelling online presence. With an impressive knack for artistic freedom and a DIY ethos, they've released five albums and collaborated with notable musicians worldwide. All this on their independent label, driving forward with a clear musical vision.

The music of KNOWER is both intricate and innovative, yet remarkably direct. Swift tempos and groovy basslines seamlessly segue into captivating vocal harmonies that send shivers down your spine. And transitions can be sudden and unexpected. When infused with a somewhat raw and ironic lyrical universe, boredom becomes nearly impossible.

Louis Cole, on the other hand, has enjoyed a successful solo career with his own music and albums. In 2019, Moldejazz welcomed the artist, delivering a breathtaking performance at Alexandraparken with the Louis Cole big band. Attendees witnessed Cole and Artadi fronting a complete ensemble, delivering music brimming with audacious ideas and precise execution. This performance offers a glimpse into the musical direction when KNOWER arrives in Molde with their full band this summer.

One simply cannot underestimate the potential for KNOWER to weave magic when they grace the stage at Teateret Vårt this July.
