Since their debut, Espen Berg (piano), Bárður Reinert Poulsen (bass), and Simon Albertsen (drums) have established themselves as one of Europe’s most distinctive piano trios. They have toured worldwide, playing sold-out concerts at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London and concert halls across Asia, and have been praised by Jazz Journal as “one of the best trios in existence today.”
Their music is defined by a rare balance between the composed and the improvised, where precision and freedom coexist. With references to artists like Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau—yet with a clearly distinctive voice of their own—the trio creates a living, ever-evolving sonic landscape.
