Thomas Dybdahl at Romsdalsmuseet!

Alongside Emma Steinbakken and Dina Ögon, the lineup for Romsdalsmuseet on Wednesday, July 16, is now complete. And the final name to be added is none other than Thomas Dybdahl with his band!

The critically acclaimed artist and songwriter from Sandnes has long established himself as one of Norway’s leading musicians. With multiple Spellemann Awards and international recognition, he has captivated audiences worldwide—from his debut album That Great October Sound to the Grammy-nominated What’s Left Is Forever. He is also highly relevant from this year’s Hver gang vi møtes on TV2—for those of you who have been following along.

His music is more grand and expansive than ever, and his live performances are guaranteed to be just as extraordinary. His latest release, Teenage Astronauts, is a collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock, etc.), legendary arranger Vince Mendoza (Björk, Joni Mitchell, etc.), Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, and lyricist Edie Kuhnle Ottestad.

The band is a stellar lineup of jazz musicians:
Thomas Dybdahl (vocals & guitars)
Gard Nilssen (drums)
Tor Egil Kreken (bass)
Vegard Lien Bjerkan (keyboards)
Lars Horntveth (saxophone, pedal steel, guitars & synth)

We’re looking forward to an incredible afternoon and evening at Romsdalsmuseet! 🎶✨
