ACCESSIBILITY
- Dedicated wheelchair tickets are available for all events.
Contact us at salg@moldejazz.no / +47 71 20 31 50 for inquiries. Please arrive early if you require assistance and contact our hosts at the venue. We do not have sign language interpreters at our events.
Companions: Holders of a companion card from their municipality can purchase 1 companion ticket per concert. Valid companion card must be presented at the entrance. Contact Tickster to purchase tickets. Contact information above. Our venue hosts are happy to assist in guiding you to your seat and explaining the easiest way to the toilet, bar, and other facilities. Unfortunately, we cannot assist with toilet help, etc. Also, contact our venue hosts if you arrive with your own wheelchair and wish to sit in it. Many of our venues have designated HC seats, and there is a limited number of seats in a normal seating setup. We try to find good solutions beyond this as far as we know in advance.
Romsdalsmuseet: HC parking and entrance on the area near Gildehallen. Easy access and good accessibility on the arena on gravel roads. Dedicated wheelchair stand with good view and roof. HC toilet at the entrance. Our hosts assist at and near the stand, please contact if needed. Wheelchairs with companions are prioritized on the stand itself if it is full. It is possible to sit in a wheelchair next to and around the stand if desired. Bringing your own chairs beyond wheelchairs on the arena is not allowed, and there are restrictions in front of the stage.
Kikkans Hall: Ramps from the sidewalk into the tent, and inside the tent. HC toilet available. Contact the hosts at the site for questions, escorting, and possibly help up the ramp. The arena is not used in 2024.
Molde Cathedral: Access via ramp into the church right by the main entrance. Dedicated HC toilet in the vestibule. Wheelchair spaces at the ends of the rows and on the sides.
Bjørnsonhuset: Equipped with HC seating, elevator to the gallery (no wheelchair spaces in the gallery), and dedicated HC toilet. No thresholds. Please inform if you want to use your own wheelchair.
Teatret Vårt: Dedicated HC seating, elevator, dedicated HC toilet. No thresholds.
Storyville: Adapted, both from the outside and inside elevator. Dedicated HC toilet in the foyer.
Alexandraparken: Dedicated HC entrance on the west side at quay level (slight slope down from the main street). Dedicated HC toilet available, contact host for access. Flat, asphalted area in concert and bar tents, but some thresholds in the form of cable gates. Less accessibility inside the upper park area.
Reknesparken: Less accessible terrain for wheelchair users, relatively steep gravel road leading up to an amphitheater. Feasible with an electric wheelchair for outdoor use or pushing help in a manual chair. Dedicated spaces for HC on the side of the amphitheater. HC toilet NOT available.
Storgata: Easy access. HC toilet available at the City Hall, Moldetorget shopping center, and hotels.
Rådsalen: Partially adapted. There is an elevator from the backyard, must go up a ramp on the 2nd floor. The arena is not used in 2024.
