Endre Volden steps down from Moldejazz
Endre Volden has chosen not to continue as General Manager of the Molde International Jazz Festival Foundation. The board wishes to thank Volden for his contributions to Moldejazz and to wish him the best in the future
Until a new General Manager is appointed, the board is pleased to announce that Jarle Sanden has agreed to serve as Acting General Manager.
Jarle Sanden brings extensive experience from the cultural sector, including as Director of Romsdal Museum, and has since taken on assignments consolidating the museums in Sunnmøre and Nordmøre. “I am very pleased that in this situation we have secured such a knowledgeable and experienced General Manager as Jarle Sanden for the interim period,” says Chair of the Board Bodil Palma Hollingsæter. “Moldejazz is an extremely important cultural institution for the region, and I have agreed to contribute now in a challenging situation,” says Jarle Sanden.
The board is confident that Jarle and the festival administration will successfully continue preparations for next year’s festival until the new General Manager is in place.
