Moldejazz 2025 offers an exclusive fusion of musical worlds as Ytre Suløens Jass-ensemble joins forces with Øivind "ELG" Elgenes from Dance with a Stranger.
Ytre Suløens Jass-ensemble has been one of Norway’s most popular traditional jazz bands since the 1970s and has become a near-permanent fixture at Moldejazz—more recently with its charismatic vocalist, Tricia Boutté, at the forefront. Øivind "ELG" Elgenes, on the other hand, has a career spanning from rock to folk music, and with his distinctive, soulful voice, he will add an extra dimension to the concert. This collaboration is based on his critically acclaimed album The Way Life Goes, and we predict a unique concert experience that will leave a lasting impression.
