Kamelen

Since his breakthrough, the platinum-certified rapper from Bergen has delivered a string of hits such as "Creme de la Creme," "Beng Beng Beng," "Vil Ba Vekk," "Lil Homie," and "Klubbkamel," solidifying his position as one of Norway's most respected hip-hop artists.
The Norwegian rapper Marcus Kabelo Møll Mosele – better known as Kamelen – became an overnight sensation when he dropped his debut single "Si Ingenting" in 2015, while simultaneously on the run from prison. The explosive breakthrough marked the beginning of a career that has made him one of the most compelling and uncompromising voices in Scandinavian hip-hop. With an ever-growing catalog of tracks and an intense touring schedule, Kamelen has cemented his place as a key figure in the Norwegian music scene – and as an important voice for a frequently underrepresented segment of society.
With his raw style, melodic instinct, and fearless expression, Kamelen has taken Norwegian rap to new heights. He has collaborated with artists like Broiler and Emma Steinbakken, topped charts in both Norway and Denmark, performed at P3 Gull, VG-lista, and Gullruten, and was praised for the documentary Si Ingenting – the most-watched cinema documentary in Norway the year it was released.
In January 2024, he dropped his fourth album, MEST ELSKET & Hatet, featuring tracks like "Benzin," "Slipp deg løs," "Stakken Pt. II," and "24k" with Lars Vaular – a powerhouse of an album showcasing the full range of Kamelen’s artistry. In May, he’s back with the single "Kjendisfest," a high-energy collaboration with DJ duo Broiler – a track made for summer, dancing, and chaos.
Now he’s coming to Moldejazz, bringing the sound of the streets straight to the scenic Romsdal Museum – an unforgettable night awaits!
